Da kam es ungelegen, dass die Kurst\u00e4dter zur Auftaktrunde als leichter Favorit gegen Birkenfeld nicht \u00fcber ein 2:2 hinauskamen. <\/p>\n<p>Eine langz\u00fcgige Zugfolge gelang in diesem Match Justus (mit 4&frac12; aus 5 auf Brett 4 der Top-Scorer der Mannschaft!) in der Diagrammstellung: Er gewann forciert die Dame: <em>9. Sd5 Da4 10. b3 Da3 11. Lb4 Db2 12. Tb1! Dxa2 13. Ta1 Db2 14. Lg5<\/em> entscheidenden Druck aufbauen - Wei\u00df brach bald zusammen. <\/p>\n<p>Am Ende wurde es denkbar knapp: Es gelang ein glattes 4:0 in der Schlussrunde - aber es reichte nicht. Punktgleich mit Offenbach teilte sich Bad Homburg den 4. Platz.
